What can go in a dumpster
What can — and can't — go in your dumpster
Most construction, roofing and clean-out debris is fine. A few items are banned by the landfill or need special handling. When in doubt, call before you toss it.

No tires. Not even one. Louisiana landfills won't take them, and a load with tires can be rejected at the gate. Have tires? Call us and we'll point you to a tire recycler.
Accepted
- Construction and demolition debris: lumber, drywall, flooring, cabinets, siding
- Roofing shingles and underlayment
- Household junk and furniture from clean-outs
- Yard waste, brush and limbs
- Carpet and padding
- Concrete, brick and clean dirt — only in the right container; call first (concrete loads up to 20,000 lbs)
Not accepted
- Tires — no exceptions
- Liquids, paint and solvents
- Batteries
- Hazardous, chemical or medical waste
- Asbestos — unless packaged by a licensed abatement contractor and booked as an ACM haul
- Appliances containing refrigerant
- Electronics (TVs, monitors) — call first
Loading tips
- Don't load above the top rim. Overfilled cans can't legally be hauled.
- Heavy material (shingles, concrete, dirt) hits the weight limit before the can looks full. Ask us before mixing heavy loads.
- Keep the area in front of the dumpster clear on pickup day so the truck can reach it.
